Aage Vestergaard Larsen A/S has been recycling plastic in Mariager, Denmark, since 1972, and the company’s 60 employees handle 15,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually, 97% of which returns to the plastic manufacturing industry as a new plastic raw material. Today, Aage Vestergaard Larsen A/S is one of the largest recyclers in the Nordic region, specialising in mechanical recycling with a large inventory of technological machinery as well as a laboratory and is one of a few companies to have attained a EuCertPlast certificate.
Aage Vestergaard Larsen A/S specialises in the regeneration, grinding, fine grinding and compounding of common types of plastic as well as more technical plastics from industry, retail and, of course, household plastic waste from both Denmark and Sweden.
