EcoRub has signed a cooperation agreement with Kuusakoski Recycling, with the aim of creating new materials/products from waste from Kuusakoski Recycling’s facilities in Sweden. The collaboration focuses on regional circular business close to the customer and mainly covers rubber and plastic from industries. Materials that today are incinerated instead of recycled.

Kuusakoski Recycling is a multinational recycling company and Finland’s largest recycling company. Their total turnover exceeds SEK 5 billion, of which just over SEK 1 billion is in Sweden.

Kuusakoski Recycling is a strategically important partner to increase the amount of available raw material for EcoRub both in the long and short term. The collaboration is important in the face of upcoming significant scale-ups and an internationalization of the business, says Isac Andersson, CEO of EcoRub AB.
We see the collaboration with EcoRub as an important step in meeting our customers’ needs to increase material recycling and create new alternative raw materials, says Olov Boman, CEO of Kuusakoski Sweden AB.
