SCANBLEND P is Polykemi’s product family of plastic compounds based on PBT/ASA blends. SCANBLEND P is a construction material with excellent dimensional stability, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. Polykemi offers a product range of SCANBLEND P for injection molding. SCANBLEND P can be obtained with multiple reinforcing agents, increased heat resistance and high color accuracy. PBT/ASA is used with advantage in external vehicle parts.
The PBT/ASA blend is a construction material that combines the benefits of crystalline PBT and amorphous ASA. PBT provides chemical resistance and mechanical performance while ASA provides weather resistance.
